ELLA DAVIS

Ella Weese Davis was born December 17, 1945, in James, Texas to the parentage of Carlee Davis Sr, and Aldotsie Davis. She was the eldest of their children. She spent much of her childhood running and playing in the streets of Diana, Texas. She was the first grandchild born to her maternal and paternal grandparents. She often reminisced of the love and attention her grandparents showered upon her. She attended kindergarten at Mt.Enterprise in Diana, Tx. Soon to follow, she completed her education in the Dallas Independent School District. She was employed by Neiman Marcus for 34 years, until retirement. Ella professed her Christian faith, and gained salvation at an early age. She was an extraordinary chef, outstanding decorator, excellent listener, great fashion advisor, one in a lifetime type of mom, and grandmother. She loved her family. She was a people lover. She was such a nurturer, generous and the epitome of selflessness, grace, class, and charm. With her computer of a brain, she remembered family, and friends birthdays, and faithfully contacted them to sing her birthday song. She was the most kind, considerate, selfless, authentic, faithful, and beautiful person, inside, and out. On March 10,2020, Ella transitioned from this temporal waiting room known as earth to her permanent destination, Heaven. Preceding Ella in death is her daughter, Yolanda Myers, and her parents, Carlee Davis Sr. and Aldotsie Davis. Left to cherish her memory and legacy are her children: Robert “ Bolo” Myers, Erica Myers, and Kevin Myers. Grandchildren: Yvette Myers, Brittany Booker, Megan Lockett, Natalie Myers, Arnecia Myers and Jaylon Myers. Great Grandchildren: Cameron Booker, Ma’kayla Booker, Amari Myers, and Julian Myers. Siblings: Dorothy Titus, Harold Davis (Patricia), Carlee Davis Jr., Steve Davis (Regina), and a host of other relatives.
