KALIAM CORTINAS HOLLOWAY

Kailiam Cortinas “Binky” Holloway was born on May 15, 1985 in Birmingham, Alabama, to William and Karen Holloway. Their second son, he was another joyful addition to their family. Kailiam attended Powderly Elementary School in Birmingham, Alabama. He committed his life to Christ at an early age at Calvary Resurrection Christian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, under the late Pastor Gary Keith Whitt, Sr. Kailiam also attended Reed Middle School in Duncanville, Texas, and at that time also attended Christian Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C., Dallas, Texas, under Pastors Clarence and Carolyn Henderson. Kailiam graduated in 2003 from Cedar Hill High School, Cedar Hill Texas. While in high school he began attending Riverwalk Fellowship Church, Haltom City, Texas, under Pastors Steve (deceased) and Diane Solomon. Kailiam went on to further his education at UTI in Houston, Texas. He graduated Universal Technical Institute April 22, 2005 in Automotive/Diesel Technology with Ford Accelerated Credential Training (FACT). Kailiam departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Seton Medical Center, Austin, Texas. He will be greatly missed for his “jokester” or “Binkster” demeanor and his love of cooking. He was preceded in death by his father, William Holloway. Those who will cherish his memories are: his mother, Karen Holloway; brothers: Karliam (Nikki) of Euless, Kwaliam and Kenliam; sister, Karenia (Marvin) Winnie; nieces: Kylani and Kianni Winnie all of Hurst, Texas; uncles: Winfred (Rogenia) Yerger of Dallas, Texas, Marvin (Irene) Holloway of West Palm Beach, Florida; aunts: Jacquelyn Hamilton of Duncanville, Texas, Paula (Robert) Phillips, Angela Holloway, Shirley Pitre all of Pahokee, Florida, Carolyn Gray of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Wanda Hamilton of Little Rock, Arkansas and Maslyn Todd of Detroit, Michigan; grandfather, Samuel (Flora) Hamilton of Silver Spring, Maryland; extended family Richard and Leslie Smith and their children, Jaylind, Jessica, Abigail and Richard Earl all of Lexington, Texas and a host of cousins and friends. Binky loved baseball, fishing and cooking. He would always create special dishes which were very delicious. Also, Binky was a caretaker for Mr. Robert Stubblefield and the children of Richard and Leslie Smith.
