LEONARD HENDERSON JR

Leonard Henderson, Jr., was born on July 8, 1943, in Moody, Texas to parents, Vera Robinson and Leonard Henderson, Sr. He was formerly married to Marjorie White, and through this union they had ve children. Leonard was well respected and lived a vibrant and full life; he received his education from Moody Elementary School and Belton High School. Leonard retired from Aleda a er 32 years of service. He loved to dress sharp and was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved his family and the church, but most of all he loved the Lord. Having accepted Christ at an early age, his Christian journey continued. He joined Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Curtis W. Wallace and Reverend Dr. Carlos D. Williams. Leonard was a faithful dedicated member of Noon Day Bible, Sunday school, and church until his health failed. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Vera Robinson and Leonard Henderson, Sr., and two brothers, Joe Louis Henderson and Roy Henderson. Leonard leaves to treasure his precious and loving memory: one brother, Andrew Henderson of McGregor, Texas; three sisters, Nellie Henderson of Dallas, Texas, Sally Chappell of Cedar Park, Texas, and Bobbie ompson of Temple, Texas; his ve children, Roy Lee Henderson of DeSoto, Texas, Shirley Williams of Grand Prairie, Texas, Joyce Henderson of Dallas, Texas, Roy Lester Henderson of Dallas, Texas, and Leonard Henderson III of Dallas, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives, including nieces, nephews,
