Robert Scott was born November 18, 1954 to Thelma Scott and George Mathis in Tallulah, Louisiana. He accepted Christ at an early age in Delta, LA. HE moved to Dallas, TX in 1978 where he pursued the music business. Robert known as Scottie Mac was a great Lyricist which he turned some poems into songs. On June 30, 2020 God sealed the lips of Robert and called him to rest. He was preceded in death by both his mother and father, 2 brothers Walter Scott and Willie Earl Perkins and a step-son Tony Hamilton. Cherishing his memories: three daughters Quintrise Whitney, Porshia Smith and Tabitha Smith all of Dallas, 2 sons Deontai Thornton of Tallulah, LA and Robert Whitney of Dallas. 2 sisters; Lucinda Vine (Curtis) of Lucas, TX and Elsie Scott of Tallulah, LA. 14 grandchildren 9 great grand children and a host of other relatives and friends.
